Hello Readers!

I know I’m a little late with this and I apologize. Sometimes I feel like I don’t have any updates worth mentioning. That much is still true. Though I have gotten back to work on Last Ark since I’m laid off from my job for two weeks, so that’s nice.

Anyway, I was watching some of the newer-ish X-Men movies, and I came up with a fun take I wanted to share!

Most of the X-Men are benders. Storm is an Avatar (I know what glowing eyes means), Magneto is a metal-bender, Iceman a water-bender, Pyro a fire-bender, and so on. Obviously it would be quite a long time after the events of Korra before the X-Men come into existence. Here’s where it starts to get really spooky though. Psychic based powers (Such as Jean Grey and Professor X) are based in blood bending, which has evolved even further into (drumroll please…) – Mind Bending! Sentinels would fit as super-advanced Mecha-tanks.

Cyclops, Rogue, Beast, and Mystique (along with some others) are a bit more difficult to place in the world. But I figure if Amon can take people’s bending it stands to reason that bending abilities would continue to evolve.

What fun takes do any of you have for things like this? It doesn’t have to be about anything specific, just keep it in the realm of sci-fi/fantasy.
