Hello readers!
First I’d like to give a huge “Thank You” to all those of you who watched the video, either when live, at or your own convenience. Doing that has boosted my follower numbers a little, which is so awesome! So again, thank you so much. If you haven’t watched the reading, check the post “Live Reading” for the link.
Unfortunately this week has been crazy, and writing time has been minimal. My apartment flooded in the crazy storm we had a couple of nights ago. The flooding wasn’t too bad, and I cleaned it quickly. It doesn’t seem like any damage was too significant. I have picked up extra shifts at work, and plus my regular school responsibilities, so hectic feels like an understatement.
Something cool that’s been happening through all my channels is networking with other authors. I plan on buying each of their books (in a successive manner) and subsequently hyping each of them up.
I will say I at least have been deep in thought lately regarding Last Ark‘s main protagonist, Evelyn DiMarina. The fog has kind of been lifting and her story is becoming somewhat more clear. I’m understanding her conflict a little better. Some of the other characters are a little more elusive. The POV is still a bit of a challenge, but it’s good to challenge oneself, right? Anyway, I think Evelyn’s conflict and at least some of my POV difficulties can be solved in a “two birds, one stone” fashion.
Here’s a funny little story for you:
I had my weeks wrong! I totally didn’t have to make a post today. I could have worked on Last Ark; instead, you get a short post of me rambling.
C’est la vie.
I am interested though, is there anything you, my readers, would like to see from my content? Feel free to comment! If you like any what I’m doing, please subscribe on the home page for exclusive content and stay up-to-date on all the things.
I’m sorry that this isn’t longer, my friends. I’m quickly approaching deadline, I’m ready for bed, and I have another jam-packed day tomorrow. I’ll get you all a nice post next week.
Thanks for putting up with whatever stream of consciousness nonsense this is.
Yours,
Kathryn
